Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg
LVHN Muhlenberg Hospital is an approximately 80‑acre healthcare campus located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, adjacent to Routes 22 and 378. The site includes multiple hospital and support buildings organized around internal roadways, parking areas, and service access. Additions included a seven‑story North Tower and a new emergency department facility integrated into the existing campus framework. Circulation, building placement, and infrastructure are configured to accommodate high patient volumes, emergency access, and ongoing campus expansion.
Pidcock served as civil engineer for ongoing development at the LVHN Muhlenberg campus, providing site/civil engineering design, permitting, and coordination for multiple facility expansions. Work was performed within an active hospital environment, requiring phased construction, maintenance of emergency access, and integration with existing utilities and circulation systems. The scope included grading, stormwater management, and infrastructure upgrades supporting new buildings such as the North Tower and emergency department. Pidcock coordinated with LVHN, municipal agencies, and regulators to secure approvals and advance construction across successive campus improvements.
