Kiwanis Youth Center

The Kiwanis Youth Center is a 10,200‑square‑foot, two‑story community facility located in Palmer Township, Pennsylvania. The building serves the Palmer Kiwanis Club and local residents, with a large community meeting room on the upper level and a flexible multi‑sports room on the lower level. A covered porch extends from the lower floor, oriented toward adjacent athletic fields and open space. The facility is sited to align with existing recreation areas and pedestrian access serving surrounding park amenities.

Pidcock served as architect and civil engineer for the Palmer Township Kiwanis Youth Center, providing architectural design, land planning, site/civil engineering, and permitting services through municipal approval. Architectural work included building massing, floor plan development, exterior expression, and integration of community and recreational functions within a compact two‑story form. Acting as Township Engineer, Pidcock coordinated site access, utilities, and accessibility within an active park setting. The project advanced through township review with coordinated architectural and engineering documents supporting construction and long‑term facility use.
